At the end of June 2023, we had recorded a total of 1856 fruit fly in traps througout the BKIT area. The climate was perfect for fruit fly, due to increased humidity and a cooler than usual summer. Fruit fly hate dry heat, and we certainly didn’t have much of that!
We have learn’t a lot and have more plans in place to continue the fight into summer 2023. Stay tuned for more details.
