Fruit Fly Traps

We are pleased to advise that BKIT has Bio-Trap Fruit Fly traps available now.

The cost of a complete trap is $7.50 (incl. GST).

The attractant gel in the trap will last up to 3 months and now is an ideal time to put out traps as host fruit becomes less available to Fruit Flies during autumn and winter.

If you wish to purchase one or more traps please contact or stop in at the BKIT office which is open today until 4pm and tomorrow (Wednesday) from 8.30am to 4pm.

These traps will also be available to people outside the BKIT area at the same price, as managing Queensland Fruit Fly will require the whole community to be involved.

The Bio-Traps can be refilled after 3 months and the current cost of a refill is $2.70 per trap.
