Queensland Fruit Fly are very distinctive, usually with bright yellow markings, and with a little practice very easy to identify.

Notice the flashes of yellow on the side of the fly in the red circle at the bottom, and the fat diamond shaped abdomen, with prominent egg laying stinger, of the fly in the red circle at top right.
