Just a reminder that it is time to refresh your QFF traps as the weather is warming up and the Queensland Fruit Fly is on the move.
Below is a snapshot from the Greater Sunraysia Pest Free Area Facebook page showing that QFF maggots have already been found in loquats (last Friday).
BKIT has traps and refills available for ratepayers and the general public, prices as follows:
Complete traps are $7.00 each
Refills are $2.20 each
Traps need to be refilled every 3 months to remain effective.
Stop in at the BKIT office if you need any traps or other QFF info.
